Mr. Murphy is the Chief Investment Officer at Bruderman Asset Management, LLC, responsible for sourcing and overseeing the firms alternative investment portfolios. He also works with the firm's portfolio management team, performing quantitative analysis for alternative and portfolio investments.

 

Mr. Murphy brings more than 25 years of investment experience to the firm, including over 17 years in the hedge fund industry, where he focused on fund due diligence, portfolio construction and quantitative analysis. He previously served as the principal of a consulting firm that provides valuation and investment banking services to investors and sponsors in the real estate, consumer and technology sectors. Prior to that, he served as a managing director and director of research at Sage Capital Management. He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation, on of the most distinguished and highly regarded accreditations in the financial services industry.
